Details:

Try to fast forward it and rewind. So I don't know if there is a reason for it bot playing either. Only thing I could test is if it powered on. I placed a tape in it.

This one is very old. Didn't sound like it did either. But it did eject the tape. I didn't test video since well wan't playing and have a TV to it on.

I'm not familiar with these VCR's.
