No cobwebs or anything like that. Comes with the original, working remote and original box. He kept it in the box inside original plastic sleeve. I opened and inspected the unit.

There is a tad bit or dust and sediment on the inside base of unit, but still quite clean for model this age. I played, rewound, and fast forwarded a tape in the unit, everything performed properly. This unit came from an older collector who was slowly tapering down his collection.
