I sold this deck and received it back inoperable. Believe me if there was a nearby repairman I would have this fixed for my use, or the next owner. There are other issues that also were not present before a buyer had it in their possession. I'll include a JVC remote control, its the only one I have for it.

The location of the loose part is in right sector on VCR's main board. I'm letting you know that this part was loose and I received it back after accepted its return. In conclusion. Even be turned off and on.

This JVC S-VHS HR-S9600U is a high end consumer deck that still worth repairing. But, not permanently. I owned the deck for a long period of time and used it very lightly. There was a line in the video image while playing back.

It wan't powering on, and after troubleshooting the unit with a technician they showed me it was up playing moving part I have taken video photos close-up. Another is audio that can play while fast scanning forward, and or backward plays at normal speaking voice, music, not a chip monk, high pitch sound. It may only be a dirty video head. The photos of the front deck were from before I sent it to an individual and was operating powering up.

There the issue is that VCR cannot control slack in tape and can cause try to play, but will shut off deck. Its compatible with this JVC deck. I think this is probably a safety feature that keeps the VCR from unwind more tape. I marked it with a red circle and also put small video showing the loose part.

So that needs replacing. I only sell to buyers within the 48 contiguous US states. This JVC Super VHS is needing repair and I'll explain what I have found with the help of a technician, but not repairman. So, after having the deck plugged in and touching part it can start to power. A small part with the number showing from top 330K, is loose. It worked when I sold it. The small part should be replaced and if the deck power on.

I didn't expect the only buyer to have tried things on it and then fail work return. One is a built in time-base-corrector. The deck was well taken care for the whole time I had originally purchased it. I try to make clear that this Super-VHS deck is fixable and have state it AS-IS condition.

If moved correctly the deck can operate. It has many nice features. That is another great feature.
