The 'stop' function works, and its the same button that should eject. Maybe I'm just not doing something right. Everything works as it should. I've cleaned it inside and out.

This unit is in excellent condition. The remote works well, but for some reason it will not eject a tape or open the DVD door. I cleaned and demagnetized the tape heads laser eye.I've tested multiple tapes, DVDs CD's.
