Overall I think some functions may be working but cannot say for certain. When I put a vhs tape in there and ed play it sounded like the vcr was reading but then would stop after about 10 seconds. I bought this second hand from an estate sale and while don't know much about it did try to test. Although when plugged in the vcr powered on nicely and all buttons seemed to be working along with light inside vhs loading.

I plugged it into an older TV and newer both times could not get the TVs to recognize.
